Worship the Lord

This month of November, 2016 let us please develop the attitude of true worship to the Almighty God. The English word “worship” is derived from an Ola English word “Worthshp” and constitutes those actions and attitudes that ascribe honour and worth to the great God of heaven and earth. Worship is essentially God-centered, not human-centered.

In Christian worship we draw near to God with joy and gratitude for what He has done for us in Christ, and through the Holy Spirit.

God wants us to worship Him this month as never before, as individual, family or as a Church/Parish. This month let us be up and doing in worship of the Lord. As we do this all the things He has for us will be released in the physical-may it be so in Jesus name – Amen!.

Worship expresses faith, love and devotion from our hearts and with our lives to God the Father and to the worthy Lamb, who was slain for our sins – Rev. 4:5

Christian worship: Two key principles govern Christian worship

  • True worship takes place in Spirit and truth (John 4:23) and
  • The practice of Christian worship must correspond to the New Testament pattern for the church (Acts. 7:44).

God blessings for the true worshippers

There are a lot of blessings that accompany true worship of God, viz

  • The Lord will be with them, and come in intimate communion (Matt. 18:20; Rev. 3:20).
  • He will overshadow a true worshipper with His glory – Ex.40:35; 2Chr. 7:1
  • He will bless with showers of blessings (Ezek 34:26) especially with peace (Ps. 29:11)
  • He will impart an abundance of joy (Ps. 121:1; John 15:11)
  • He will answer prayers, prayer in sincere faith (Mark 11:24; James 5:15)
  • He will freshly fill with Holy Spirit and with boldness (Acts. 4:31)

By His grace and power the forgoing blessings will be your portion even as you devote this month to worship Him.

God bless you!

He Is Still Our Jehovah Nissi

The Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is still our Jehovah Nissi. The one who is always fighting our battles from all the fronts of the enemies. So do not be discouraged, nor be worried. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrews 13:8 says: ‘’Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever’’.

In Malachi 3:6 the Lord said Himself, thus: ‘’for I am the Lord, I change not; therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed’’

In Lamentations 3:22, it is written: ‘’it is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassion fail not’’.

In Romans 11:29, it is written: ‘’For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance’’.

In James 1:17, it is also written: ‘’every good gift and every perfect gifts is from above and cometh down from the Father of Light, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning’’

My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord, God is still God, He has not changed, nor will He ever change, that is why we are told in Malachi 3:6 that He will never change any day. He is still a compassionate God, Who fulfills all His promises. Wait for Him, He will soon visit you. He will never leave you nor forsake you- Heb 13:5.

In the last six weeks in GSP, God has touched so many lives. We shall be experiencing the manifestation of His touch in our lives this season in Jesus name. He will not pass you by, He will remember you for good in Jesus name, continue to trust in Him and you will testify very soon. Our God is a good God, there is nothing He cannot do. This season by His grace and power He will remember you for good.

Once again, I declare that it is well with you- Isaiah 3:10

God Bless You!

Divine Favour

This month of June, by the grace of God is the month of Divine Favour for us all. Therefore, try and key into it. To try and key into it, you need to do the followings:

*Endeavour to live in holiness Heb. 12:14

*Endeavour to avoid anger and quarrel James 1:20

*Praise and worship Him Psalm 22:3

*Declare a family or individual 2-day or 3-day fast.

*If being led in the spirit, make a vow. Prov. 5:3-4

*Be prayerful Luke 18: 1-5

In the book of Psalm 5:12, it is written ‘’For thou, God LORD, will bless the righteous, with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.’’

The bible clearly states that if the divine favour of the Lord is upon you, even your enemies will be at peace with you. Even as you will experience peace from the Lord. (Prov. 16:7, Isa. 26:3-6)

The mercy of the Lord is a product of God’s favour, in Romans 9:15-16, it is written

‘’For He saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy ’’

By His grace this month you will find favour with the Lord, even as Queen Esther found divine favour in the sight of the King, and she was promised blessings to the tune of half the Kings Kingdom. With God all things are possible, therefore, this season your own will not be difficult for Him to do. He is the God of all Flesh, who has given us assurance that our own challenges will not be difficult for Him to solve.

By the grace and power of the God of Heavens and the Earth, whom we serve, you will testify for joy and His glory this time. It is your turn of testimony. My prayer for you this season is that whatever is blocking the view of those who should favour you, shall be removed in Jesus name.

Congratulations in advance!

God bless you.
